There really isn't much point simply providing a way for people to
fetch badly broken and reputedly stable kernels via CVS.  This is
something that would need to be done by someone who has an
understanding of what makes one possible kernel patch measurably
better than another; that person would do the commit, and the users
could then update if they chose, follow branches, roll back versions
as needed and so on.

It's not something that anyone who isn't willing to take on a job just
like Linus's can do.

It's also irrelevant to me since I'm not running Linux any longer,
remember?  Way back up at the start of this thread?
