[H-GEN] thoughts on Dell laptops

Not wanting to steer the conversation away from Dell - have never tried to 
install Linux on them. However, I have done plenty of installs on 
thinkpads.

Personally, I like them - not the sexiest - but reliable. One site I do 
recommend is the http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ThinkWiki 

While it is thinkpad centric, it does have general discussions on 
different chipsets (nVida, ATI, Intel) and getting them work with specific 
distros -- so could be a handy reference.
