Speaking of NAT. Have you any idea how to transparently proxy traffic
that's using ipv6?

The only solution I've found so far is setting a firewall mark bit in
iptables, then using iproute2 (aka /sbin/ip) to route traffic that
matches that match bit to a gateway that accepts all the traffic...
