Provided you have 'yum' setup correctly, you should be able to install
the package via 'yum install mrtg'. This will download and install the
rpms from an rpm repository.

This is the version of mrtg I see in my fedora core 3, and is a line output from
'yum list mrtg':

mrtg.i386                                2.10.15-1              core
