That's the nature of the design -- you use dump every day; you
use restore once every ten years.

Er, dunno.  The one true dump does not have a -Q option, so I've
no experience with it.

If you really need to restore frequently, it might be wiser to
investigate other mechanisms.  Hard to know what to suggest
without knowing more about the use case.
