Amavis is good in that you can specify a regexp of virii you know spoof 
addresses - we had a particularly huge mail queue when MyDoom hit (read 60k+ 
emails sending out) which were all bounces. One little line change in amavis 
and a mailq cleanup and we hardly felt the MyDoom onslought after that :)

We actually had a client call up frantic because they received an email (I 
think it was the encrypted Bagel virus) saying that their domain would be 
closed down due to them sending viruses - all a hoax of course but as you say 
annoying and time wasting.
