Be wary of a 'good price', theres always a reason why.
1. I have found that HP's require less frequent toner refills. (much less)
2. The canon could very well be a software based printer (read LBP)
which on a cups box would probably relegate it back to paperweight status.

My old HP Laserjet 5MP got a new toner 2 years ago, Kirsten prints
heaps, I print a bit, its still going strong.
