Maybe a zone that doesn't have a domain name .... Ah no ... maybe not.
What about installing Samba on all the Linux boxes and let all systems
use WINS as a fallback for name resolution? ;-)
I need to look into what a Samba based WINS server can do in terms of
being a DNS proxy.
