[H-GEN] Setting gateway and dns in debian

Hi all,

I have installed a snapgear VPN Router. Prior to that I had the debian
box accessing the internet via an xp box. 
How do I configure the debian box to use the snapgear as the gateway?
According to the snapgear manual I also need to configure all connected
PC's with my ISP's DNS, again where do I do this. The snapgear manual
only describes the process for win boxes :(
