G'day Rick
Yes, I am very interested
- But
I am pretty sure there will be v 2 out around years end - eh?
At this stage I am not sure that I would want to run any windows apps on
a Linux boxen. Honest.
Open Office almost does it now, and Mozilla is right up there, too, in
the 'look alike' stakes.
I am thinking more along the lines of a vanilla Linux os that can be
used in a similar manner to the MS product that most 'others' are
familiar with.
No frills or possible spots to get conflicts.
Debian is a great base.
The more the gui looks and works like windows 98/xp, the less probs I
will have weaning the reluctants.
Please keep in touch with the Humbug group
- why not contact the committee, and set a date to flash
yourself/product at a the assembled group, one Saturday evening?
cheers Tony
ps any relation to Harry?
