Hey Peoples,
I am currently looking for a keyboard connector for a IRIS Crimson
server. I have searched the web continuously for the past week trying to
find one, and along the way found you guys @ humbug. The school I work
for had the Crimson sitting at the back of their storage shed gathering
dust amongst a couple of dead air conditioners (most likely because it
looks and sounds like an air conditioner).
I found the keyboard not too far away from it in a bin with PC magazines
and a few old PC mice, but alas...no keyboard connector.
I opened up the side of her case with some of the students hanging over
my shoulder and watched a few student eyes go wide when they saw all the
CPU's and dozens of memory slots, classic.
Unfortunately I couldn't get the Crimson to do anything because some
jerk threw out the keyboard lead!
I despair.
So...
If any of you wonderful people have in their dusty cupboards of
technical wizardry a keyboard lead for a Silicon Graphics IRIS Crimson
server, or even know which direction to point me to find one (even if I
have to get another whole keyboard) it would be greatly appreciated.
The connector is a male PS2 connector for the keyboard end and male DB15
connector at the server end.
Yours in the cause for the Crimson Monster.

PS A pin-out diagram would do as well
