Russell and AJ have already pointed to the LCA talk. The key thing is no
license is irrevocable - even if it says it is. Hence, it is possible for
an author to revoke a license at anytime. So an author can also revoke
your license and issue you a new one.

There are mitigating factors to this which are discussed at length in the
paper.
