Which is what I'm running in a dual head config here at the moment.
Two screens of 1600x1200 in 24 bit colour[1].

Unfortunately the driver as of XFree 4.2.0 (revision 8 on RedHat)
doesn't do hardware accelerated GL in dual headed mode.

I'm firmly of that opinion as well, assuming I actually do bother
upgrading my PC to another PC. To be honest, the single reason I'd bother
getting another PC is because of games, which I don't play all that often.
[1] (((1600*1200)*3)*2)/1024^2 = 10.98MB of frame buffer used,
assuming it's not 4 byte aligned.
