Good idea, I'll go with that.

Yeah, what I was thinking of really was to actually have a common kernel
with the 3 /boot areas symlinked into it. But no the complications are not
worth it. The machine is to be used for video editing, and hd??? will be a
160 gig device made from 2 * 80 hardware striped raid.
So London to a brick there will be kernel compiles to get this little beastie
going the Linux way!
Will have to setlle for 1 compile at a time followed by 3 installs.
