I'm afraid that through personal experience and observation of others,
this isn't the case 100% of the time.  Unfortunately, despite our best
intentions, we don't always project the image of helpfulness and
courtesy we should be.  This /is/ a user-group, after all.

I find that I have great respect for technical skill and knowledge, but
only when it's accompanied by humility, courtesy and good humour.  FWIW,
Robert's especially good in this way.  If only I and everyone else were
like that!
