I haven't found any of that sort of work, where should I be looking? 
Embedded systems really interest me, and I have a lot of experience.

I'm very good at all sorts of programming, so I don't specialise, which
makes it hard for people to pigeon hole me, so I don't get work, even
though I can do it all really really well.

Sigh, story of my life, I'm really good, but no one is interested.
