I'm doing this on a debian (woody) system.
I'd like some advice on what start and stop numbers to assign to a firewall
script which is located in /etc/init.d/firewall. My script listens to the
standard stop/start, but I never bothered to implement the reload option
(although this is a no brainer).
Nothing much is changed from defaults, but I want it to work in a manner
which causes the firewall to be killed after the network goes down, and
brough up before the network comes up and such stuff.
For future reference, what are the tools and best methods for setting up the
rc?.d symlinks, and assigning them sane numbers and not just "defaults"?

Patrick.
