Thanks for all your replies. I think that the complication for usb hard
drives is that you need a bridge and also some SCSI components because of
the detection of it as a SCSI hard drive that it really isnt. The components
are probably already there if you have a SCSI card installed but if you
don't they need to be installed.
I'll keep searching...I did find what modules I need but I have lost the
reference.
