Problem though...you already know what your CDROM is mounted on .../dev/hdc.
I can not append at bootup until I know what SCSI device it will be mounted
on. It might be possible to run insmod ide-scsi and determine what the
device is but at bootup I do not know what it will be...I suspect /dev/sda
since it will be the first SCSI device but I can not be sure of that.
If insmod ide-scsi works for me I ought to be able to mount on /dev/sda
might give it a try I have little to lose.
