Thankyou for your help.
The spell check change the D's they are in lower case.
I'm sorry I'm a newbie and not to sure what to check , the symlink to cdrom
points to /dev/scd0 and cdrom2 points to /dev/scd1 also my floppy  points to
fb0 .

Thankyou ,
Rodney.

Sandra,
I've tried several times but the dev/cdrom keeps changing back to point to
/dev/scd0 after I re-boot.
I hope I'm not annoying you to much,
Rodney.

Sandra ,
I did  this I presume I will have to re boot as I now get the message - mount
only root can mount /dev/cdrom on /mnt/cdrom .
Thanks very much for your time,
Rodney.
