Might well - I'll have a play with it (though band-aid solutions are
much more annoying than a real fix).

I certainly /didn't/ want to hack the source... Yes, I know, not enough
enthusiasm... :-)

Hmmm...thanks for the advice !  Having lived one hours bus ride away
from this wonderous capital for nearly 2.5 years now, I've still only
been once.  Well twice if you count a recent visit to the London Zoo
(part of my research into tutoring/demonstrating to 1st year engineers
- I have some colleagues who work with the primates there).
