Another wierd like M$ querk...

when windows 9x logs onto the domain, it somehow manages to munge the
case of the password.  (note this only happens when loggin into a
domain. not when you log in as a workgroup ) fix: use password level =
(some number) [1] .  something I havn't tried is a) if this occurence
happens with encrypted passwords or b) if NT does the same thing (using
plain text paswords) ( I know it doesn't using encrypted passwords )

[1] problems with this fix is it takes an already unsecure
authentication method and makes it less secure.  Oh... and I havn't
tested it yet ;)
