Hi All,

I have Redhat 6 installed. At the time of installation I did not set up
LAN networking. I have tried to install a D-Line SN3200 (RealTek 8029)
which I believe is compatible with the ne2k-pci driver.

Insmod
------
I tried to do an Insmod of ne2k-pci.o and received the following messages.

ne2k-pci.o unresolved symbol ei_open
ne2k-pci.o unresolved symbol ethdev_init
ne2k-pci.o unresolved symbol ei_interrupt
ne2k-pci.o unresolved symbol NS8390_init
ne2k-pci.o unresolved symbol ei_close

Is there something else that needs to be set up? I suspect that it would
all fall together if I just do a reinstall. However, I would prefer not to
do this.

Control Panel
-------------
Prior to the insmod, I tried to follow some instructions which use Redhat
Control Panel Kernel Configurator. For some reason, the list of modules
that appear for an eth module type does not include ne2k-pci.o. However,
this module does exist in /lib/modules/2.2.5-22/net/

Does anyone know why all the modules do not appear?

Regards

Gavin Lawson
