What was that?  I can't hear you above the noise of my 2 hard drives,
power supply fan, 2 drive cooling fans, and 2 CPU fans......

... and turn off your monitor at night.  By design, the electron gun at
the back of a CRT _has_ to get hot.  The vents on the top of a monitor
are all very good for letting the heat out, but they also let the dust
in.  That dust has been known to catch fire and nearly burn an office
down... hasn't it Michael?

Personally, leaving a computer on 100% of the time is OK, so long as you
can shut the door to reduce noise levels.
