I don't currently have access to the /etc/resolv.conf file, due to me being
at work, but it's set out something similar to this (and yes I've fiddled
with it that much that I can remember it ... sad I know)
domain qld.bigpond.net.au
search qld.bigpond.net.au qut.edu.au uq.edu.au
nameserver 24.192.64.18
nameserver 24.192.64.19
nameserver 24.192.1.30
#QUT nameservers
nameserver 131.181.127.32
nameserver 131.181.59.48
#powerup nameservers
#nameserver 203.32.8.111
#nameserver 203.32.8.113
I use bpalogin v1.7 and simply downloaded the .deb from the bigpond site
... setup the /etc/bpalogin.conf file as setout in the telstra cable howto
... which is why I'm so stumped that it's not working
