[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and
Unix-related topics. ]
I have spent a bit of time this evening trying to get KPPP dialing but the
first thing is says is pppd is not properly installed or isn't installed
with the pppd binary set as SUID (or someting like that)
1. what does this mean
2. how can I correct it
3. what is SUID I assume it stands for SuperUser ID
now /sbin/pppd is
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root
