The 2 PC's I've setup with Linux down in Nerang have got Windows 95
already installed, and I don't have the option of removing Windows 95.
In this case relatives of mine are curious, want to see what Linux
is about and want to experiment with it. I'm falling back on loadlin
so Linux becomes accessible via DOS and conveniently the sound hardware
is setup by DOS on boot, so I no longer have to worry about this one :)

I have to consider at some point they'll try to reinstall windows
for whatever reason which destroys the lilo block. It appears to me
that loadlin is close to foolproof, unless they trash config.sys and
autoexec.bat :)

Maybe in a few months time they'll be ready to deal with lilo :P

As for volume, I've never figured out how to 'set a new default'.
I readjust my SB64AWE volume after booting, and try not to reboot
very often :)
