I wrote to Sentator Alston.

I got a response the other day (from a lackey), which was basically,
"thank you for your letter, here's what we've decided".

The page to which I was referred was the draft of the legislation
which was last modified BEFORE my complaint.   I had *already* read
it, in order to *write* the complaint.  Arrogant fsckers.

It seems they treat e-mailed[1] letters as no-brainer form-letter
campaigns.  I spent hours on that @#$%@#$%@ letter.

[1] I had to use email as I only found out about the legislation 2
        days before the close of submissions.
