There's heaps.  All those 56k internal PCI modems you see are 'winmodems'.
I've often seen ISA 56k modems advertised for around $30 more than the PCI
variety, which I believe aren't winmodems.  (16/8 bit bus not fast enough?)
External serial winmodems don't exist AFAIK, but USB ones might.
