[H-GEN] Hardware

Gentlemen,

	I'm writing from the States and am fairly new to using Linux at
home and need some info on the following hardware:

Scanners: Whih ones are supported by Linux nowadays ??
Tape Back-up: Which are the best under Linux ??

I tried a couple of lists at rutgers, but I got lost in the noise and the
posts are repeating 5 to 10 times apiece and so I had to unsubscribe. My
mailbox was filling up beyond capacity.
