[H-GEN] recommend a service for restoring files from a wiped hard drive?

If you're willing to try yourself, TestDisk (
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk) is the tool I normally use. You'll
normally only be able to recover files that are contiguous on the disk.
However, depending on the format of the disk, and if anything was written
to it after formatting, you can sometimes "unformat" the disk using the
extra copies of the metadata stored by some file systems.
