For many years I have used http://yisp.nl/ for my server needs. They
have presence in Europe and USA. HUMBUG probably needs something more
local though. Their level of service I tend to classify using the term
"gung ho", in that they are often so eager to please, that you have to
make sure to ask them to not actually go ahead with something if you
are merely making enquiries. Other than that, reliable, friendly,
helpful, and they get things done.

They have a working responsive ticketing system. Public IPv4
addresses, no blocks on any ports (I tend to use a lot in the 8000 to
9000 range due to OpenSim). Their VPS come with an optional backup.
Apparently their advertised deals on their web site are a little out of
date, you could likely get a better deal with some negotiation. So I
wont comment on which particular VPS might suit HUMBUG. I had to
negotiate them down from 10 TB a month to 2, and even 2 is way more
than I need.

As an example of how things go when dealing with them - this year I had
upgraded from a VPS to a dedicated server, with more RAM, more HD, way
more monthly bandwidth, and a beefier CPU. They where very helpful,
letting me run both side by side for a month, but only charging me for
the new server. They where quite eager to help me get this, despite
the fact that the result is that now I'm paying them LESS per month
for more. There where zero problems with this. Admittedly I did the
actual OS migration myself.

Disclaimer - Yes they have offered some sort of "discount" if I refer
people to them. I have no idea how that works, or which of us get this
discount. I don't really care that much.
