"Linus doesn't like it" seems like a pretty damn poor reason to not
implement a tool like cvs, the benefits of which have been proven time
and time again. And for much larger projects than the linux kernel too!
And for tidying up net/core -- doesn't look all that bad to me on a first
glance...
