[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics. Please observe the list's charter. ]
[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]
Interesting. It has suddenly started working with the iptables modules. I
had to change my lookup method to normal instead of server in mIRC (I
already had this done, but changing it to server, reconnecting, then
disconnecting and changing it back caused it to work. I put this down to a
mIRC error more than a module error)
However, we now have a difficult in opening a dcc chat session within the
internal network. Works from the gateway machine in, but not between our
clients. (Boyfriend is working on a dcc based game and it's hard to test it
when he can't open a dcc chat session with himself)..... Anyone got any ideas?
Oh and a side note, I found that x-chat has now been compiled for windows.
I very much like it, but unfortunately I don't know perl yet so scripting
is somewhat difficult. But I do love the transparent background option.
Now, if only mIRC were ported to X .... ;-)
Sandra.

Neelix: Uh, sorry, Captain. We lost two more replicators this morning--
Janeway: [seizing Neelix by the shoulders] Listen to me very carefully
because I'm only going to say this once. *Coffee*. Black.
