the only one I could get to work is one I pulled off freshmeat.net called
'nylon'.... unfortunately for some reason although it says it can do socks
v5, I couldn't actually get it to do that. I went to the socks.nec.com page
but I have to do all this stuff just to get this so-called 'free' program.
Firstly I have to give them my email address. Well that was fine, but the I
got an email saying I had to email my details back to them *again*.... and
wait for more instuctions. Seems like a lotta hassle to go to, especially
for the 'real person' who is supposedly perusing these replies.
