As of this morning, I have an install of bnetd that supports diablo 2 
v1.09. After weeks and months of  testing cvs builds at last it is here!

Just thought I'd share the happy news in case anyone else was waiting for 
this joyous moment :-) I probably could have fixed it myself except that 
determination enough isn't enough to get it done. Unfortunately I can't 
program in any useful languages.
