G'day Anthony,
For graphics, I have just learned to use GQview at Humbug. 
It seems to 'do' most simple art work, and is very easy to use viewer.
I think it might be part of the RH 7.1 installation

I use Sylpheed for my emailer. It is a bit like Netscape, and though I
am having a bit of a hard time with the address book right now, I have
been told that the upgrade  [which has been out for a while] will fix
that problem up.

I will be loading SO6 at the next meet.
I tried installing an earlier beta, quite a while back, but couldn't get
it to run outside the root.
[even with expert assistance during the meet!].
Hope they have fixed it
