Hi David,
We run hylafax for all our incoming faxes and email them to a records
management person. We have three fax modems (I'm supposed to get around
to number four sometime) servicing our fax number.
We do have an occasional problem with a modem not hanging up properly
and the log file for that session grows (to max file size on the fs
2Gb). I did come across a solution for this, but am leaving it till
this machine gets upgraded to RH 7.x. If it helps we are currently
using hylafax-4.1beta2-8rh6.
The fax support in your modem is a important factor, I'd use fax class 1
unless you know the modem has really good fax class 2 support.
Regards,
Robert Stuart
