[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics. Please observe the list's charter. ]
[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]

I've been using a Linux machine (RH6.2, now RH7.1) for over a year to dial
to UQ as my ISP using the RH PPP dialer. I also use the same machine to dial
into work.

It does work, quite well I think. So, I'd encourage you to keep trying.

BTW - I've also used a RH7.1 laptop to dial UQ successfully.
