[H-GEN] Bitcoin talk @ next Humbug

I'm going to give a talk about Bitcoin at the next Humbug meeting on
2014-03-01.

In the talk will I attempt to explain how a seemingly simple idea
expressed in software could induce rational people to value a bag of
bits that no central authority controls at USD$7B, currently.  It is a
fascinating tale of the interaction between pure mathematics and human
society.

>From there I will move onto the purely speculative - why the world might
end up using nothing but virtual currencies, and what it would look like
if it did.

It will start when we return from dinner, which is typically 8:30 PM or
so.  It will go for as long as it takes.
