Specifically, I was hoping to build a small website (conference program,
optimised for mobile devices), and a friend who is a Drupal programmer was
going to help me but hasn't done anything, so I was looking around for
other options.
I'm happy to do the work of entering in the raw data, but I'm looking for
someone who can build the Content Management System. I suppose Joomla would
also be okay.
I liked the idea of using a well-known open source CMS because then it
wouldn't be too hard to find another programmer to do tweaking in a few
years time. I have the bad experience of being a volunteer member of a
professional institution that purchased a proprietary CMS for it's website
and now we're locked in to a rigid structure that is expensive to tweak.
Is there anyone around who can do this sort of stuff?
