That's based on partclone.  Partclone may work well with Linux
partitions (I haven't tried it), but it didn't work with NTFS partitions
for me.

http://partedmagic.com/ contains partclone and a whole pile of useful
tools, most of which do work (like CloneZilla).  Probably not as simple
as redobackup.org, but definitely more capable, and you can boot it over
PXE.
