That's an Android device? There are many virtual keyboards to choose
from on Googles market. I use Hacker's Keyboard, and would guess that
might suit you better than standard Android keyboard. No idea what the
iPad keyboard is like, but I would guess they also have lots of
alternative keyboards on their market.
I would try to get it fixed, either by taking it back to Asus, or
hitting it with a bigger hammer.
