It has been done before, and by a HUMBUG member. Stephen Thomas knows 
all about Linux on the Zaurus. He may turn up at the meeting.

Personally, I think the Ben Nanonote is a more interesting (and 
up-to-date) hacking target.

I too am a victim of Android, I lost this reply twice to a browser 
crash and the pitfalls of a touch UI.
