Hi Carl.  When I first read this I interpretted it as "I know th reason. 
It is obvious but I'm not going to tell you".

I was abrupt as a result.

A private email from someone else suggested to me that you really didn't 
want to post the reason publically perhaps because it is sensitive in some 
way.

So first off, I'm sorry for being abrupt.

What is obvious to you may not be obvious to others.  This can be a result 
of many different factors.

If you don't feel comfortable posting the reason in public then by all 
means email me or someone else (eg the President) privately.  Perhaps 
you'll tell us something we really don't know.
