I believe there is some fancy encryption happening.

However I guess you might be able to rip stuff if the foxtel box does
DVI or HDMI output as HDCP has been cracked. Just capture the video/
between the box and the TV.

I don't know much about this HDCP stuff but I did mirror the master
key on my wiki when I heard about it.
