Firstly on the time wasting front, the booking at the Mongolian
Restaurant today is under the name "Humbug".

Secondly, here is a blog post about an investigation into some possibly
fake Kingston SD Cards:

It wanders off into an explanation of why the cost SD Cards roughly
equal the cost of flash in them, despite the fact they contain a
micro-controller.   So you get the micro-controller for free.  Why would
that be?
