As does http://www.laptopmag.com/ , along with a number of other sites 
output in a search for 'laptop review' or 'notebook review'.

Once you've got the desired feature set, you probably want to look for a 
good retailer.  Will it be around to service whatever extended warranty 
that is offered, and does it have a history of honouring such policies?
