Here is my Presidents for the period ending 2010-04-30.

Committee reports submitted:
President: done & accepted by the exec.
Vice President: done & accepted by the exec.
Secretary: done & accepted by the exec.
Treasurer: done & accepted by the exec.
  Librarian: not done.

Outstanding items from the last minutes:
We still have to need to ask the postoffice about a space PO box key.

A minor procedural change is the Exec decided we would submit our
reports in writing at least 12 hours prior to the exec meeting, either
on the minutes page on the wiki or as an email to the lists.

Apart from that there has only one big thing that has been going on is
LCA. I think when the current LCA committee looks back on LCA 2011,
they will say the action began at the ghosts meeting.

The ghosts are the ghosts of LCA past; the people who did the work in
previous years. Obstinately, the purpose of the meeting is to give the
newbies some friendly advice. And indeed, we did get a lot of good
advice. But speaking for myself, I didn't come away with the warm fuzzy
feeling you get from relaxed couple of days in the company of friends.
It was more of a case "oh golly, what have we got ourselves into".

Things have been fairly full on since then. I am going on holidays
overseas in June, so I have to get most of my stuff sorted out by then.
Clinton is in a similar position. Not because he is going overseas,
just because it is wise to get the venue he in charge of (open day)
booked at least 6 months before the event. Matt is stressing over his
little project - the A/V. (Matt has promised us a talk on this.)
Stephen and James have spent the last month copping flak over the server
not being available. The servers is being provided by Linux Australian.
For sysadmins, some things never change. Apparently.

Although I don't have much control over this, I am hoping Humbug and its
members will have an opportunity to become more involved in LCA 2011. I
will be working on that when I come back from Holidays in July.
