We certainly didn't have anything planned. Organising an installfest
properly takes a fair amount of time. Alas, if we held a party for
each different version of unix released that our members used, every
meeting would probably be a party.

Also, I've cc'd my reply to our general list, the admin list is really
just meant for day to day administrative stuff, and we certainly
encourage general membership to organise things (like installfests and
social gatherings) themselves and not rely on us plodders. All of the
admin group are currently involved in organising linux.conf.au 2011,
which is taking up most of our spare time.

Does BUUG have a mailing list I could join ? I don't use Ubuntu, but
it would be useful to keep in touch.
